Who is artundtea?

Hello, I’m Suzanna! I’m a 27 year old self-taught artist from Sydney, Australia.

Having grown up with cosy, whimsical stories such as The Magic Faraway Tree, Brambly Hedge and The Wind in the Willows close to my heart, it brings me so much joy to share this warm and nostalgic feeling with you through my artworks.

I am constantly inspired by vintage illustration styles and all things tea. My approach weaves together traditional ink brush lineart and digital colouring that honours the past while celebrating the present. As I’m living in Germany at the moment, the ‘und’ in the centre pays a small tribute to this country that is gifting me so many wonderful memories and moments.

I received my Masters from the University of Sydney in 2021 and have worked as an architectural assistant for a few years. However creating art has always made me feel the most alive and purposeful - this portfolio is a pledge to myself to continue to nourish this branch of my creative journey.
